Modelling Churches

 Card model of St Mary Magdalene's Church, Yorkshire

This model was made as a basic reproduction of my local church, a place that has been personally important throughout my life. The unique architecture of churches lends itself well to dramatic imagery which is why it was chosen for my model. The real church is positioned on a hill so there were challenges regarding how best to illustrate it accurately; I solved this by staggering the base to imitate the changing ground height.
